Ike & WWII Combo

Ike & World War II Combo includes visits to two additional local museums and a box lunch. The first is the Eisenhower National Historic Site. Like the later Camp David, the Eisenhower's farm provided a weekend retreat and a meeting place for world leaders while Eisenhower was President. It was also the original Home of Armor, the location of Camp Colt, where the Army Tank Corps conducted recruit training during World War I. The second museum is the WWII American Experience Museum and Education Center. It has an impressive collection of vehicles, uniforms and artifacts in realistic dioramas and exhibits from the war. Its collection includes an M4E8 Sherman with 37th Tank markings!
